The Journal of Philippine Island Universities (JPIU)—formerly the Journal of Society and Technology (ISSN: 2012-3566)—has been published since 2012. It is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed academic journal committed to advancing innovative and evidence-based research on issues relevant to island and rural communities in the Philippines and the global community. JPIU provides a platform for disseminating scientific knowledge, community-based innovations, and policy-relevant findings that contribute to sustainable development.
